NEW ALBUM FROM ALEX PUDDU AND THE BUTTERFLY COLLECTORS OUT NOV 17
Alex Puddu and the Butterfly Collectors have just finished their fourth album, entitled "Mechanism and Technique", to be released November 13th on Al Dente Music.
The album features guest appearances by vocalists of the Danish alternative and pop scene such as: Silas Bjerregaard (Turbo Weekend), Esben Busck (Factory 45), Tobias Buch-Andersen (Maborosi), Jackie Larsen (The Breakers), Kenneth Thordal, Duane Hobson, and Mathilde Lunderskov
NEW ALBUM FROM ALEX PUDDU AND THE BUTTERFLY COLLECTORS
For the moment, Alex Puddu is working on a new album with Alex Puddu and The Butterfly Collectors. This will be the band's fourth album, following the jazzy-cinematic debut "Chasing the Scorpion's Tail", the singer/song writing mood of "The Silence of the Sun and the Rhythm of the Rain", and the deep and dark moods of "Song for the Sleepers " For this new album, which will feature a couple of guest vocalists, Alex is going for a more electronic touch combined with soul elements. The album is scheduled to be released in November 2008.
BAD BOYS OF 79 NEW ALBUM OUT IN MARCH
Alex Puddu has just finished recording an album with his new electronica project "Bad Boys Of '79".
The album will be out in March in a limited stock of 100 vinyl copies and will be available in cd format on alex new Record Label "Al Dente". The album features several guests performances by artists such as Lasse Storm (the voice of Sha la las), Morten Dahlhoff (bass player of Skywriter), and Alex Puddu's partner in crime Justin Shønning. Last, but certainly not least, Peter Peter (former member of Sort Sol and Bleeder)appear on guitar on one of the track of the album.

For the past few months Alex Puddu has been working on different studio projects, and in the upcoming year the musician/composer/producer will release 3 albums under different names. The new electro/flame project Beat me up Baby with partner Justin Schøning, Bad Boys of 79 (electrofunk/Breakbeats) and a new album with the band Alex Puddu and the Butterfly Collectors.
LAST LIVE PERFORMANCE?
Alex Puddu and the Butterfly collectors will perform probably for the last time this year,on Thursday.March 22nd at Rust,Copenhagen.Lately,Alex is been working on new material and the sound is sure going to be a lot more electronic/pop/experimental than the previous albums.It has not yet been decided whether these new songs will appear on the next Alex Puddu and the Butterfly collectors album or whether they will be part of a brand new project
BEAT ME UP BABY
